Brnabic: Citizens to be satisfied with new measures

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Tuesday she had made calculations with President Aleksandar Vucic and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali to see what additional economic and political measures could be taken, and noted that the citizens would be satisfied with the measures, to be announced on Wednesday.

Speaking to Pink TV, Brnabic said she had discussed the measures with Vucic and Mali until late last night, but did not elaborate.

Commenting on recent opposition protests in the country, Brnabic said "power in Serbia will be won only in elections."

"If the people say in elections that they do not want us but someone else, we will let someone else take power," Brnabic said, adding that the organisers of the protests and the media backing them found it unnatural that Vucic did not want to let anyone take power without elections.
