Sharp Increase in Number of Bulgarian Tourists Visiting Germany
In 2016 the number of tourists accommodations booked by Bulgarian tourists visiting Germany increased with 4.7% or 13,000 as compared to the previous year, the sales and marketing office of the German National Tourist Board informs, quoted by the Bulgarian National Radio.
Highest increase was registered in the number of Turkish and Greek citizens traveling to Germany.

Bulgaria Is On 3rd Place Selling New Cars in EU
Bulgaria is on third place in sales growth of new cars in the European Union (EU) in the first four months of 2017, shows the statistic of the European Car Producers Association (ACEA) in Europe, reported Dnevnik.
From January to April in the country are bought 9086 new cars, or exactly 20% more compared to the same period in 2016.
Units intercept over 1,000 migrants on Turkish borders
Over 1,000 people were intercepted by Turkish forces trying to enter the country illegally from Syria on May 14, the military stated on May 15.
Just under 1,090 people were found by Turkish forces' border units, the General Staff stated, without saying whether the influx was at a particular point or along Turkey's lengthy southern border with Syria.
