Greece’s major opposition party New Democracy (ND) released a statement regarding the two parcel bomb attacks against European and IMF officials in the past two days stressing Greece’s international image had been seriously damaged. The statement alleged the two incidents attempted to frame ND by linking the two parcel bomb senders to the conservative party.
Carlos the Jackal on trial for 1974 Paris attack
Carlos the Jackal, once the world's most wanted fugitive in the 1970s and early 1980s, went on trial in France on March 13 for the deadly bombing of a Paris shop more than 40 years ago.
The 67-year-old convict cut a grizzled, thinner figure as he was led smiling into a courthouse in Paris, where he is serving a life sentence for other attacks.

Pristina seeks Haradinaj's release, suspension of dialogue
PRISTINA - The Kosovo assembly on Thursday passed a resolution seeking a suspension of the dialogue with Belgrade until an unconditional release of Ramus Haradinaj, a former "Kosovo Liberation Army" commander wanted by Serbia for war crimes committed in June 1999.

Extradition request for Ramush Haradinaj sent to France
BELGRADE - The Serbian Justice Ministry on Tuesday sent an extradition request to France for Ramush Haradinaj, a source in the ministry told Tanjug.
The request was accompanied by documentation translated to the French language, based on which the French judiciary will decide whether the criteria for Haradinaj's extradition to Serbia have been met.

BELGRADE - French police on Wednesday arrested former Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, a KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army / UCK) commander during the 1998-99 Kosovo war, on a Serbian warrant, French police sources and Kosovo's Foreign Ministry said.

French police arrest 7 terrorist suspects
French police arrested seven terrorist suspects, Monday, who were reportedly plotting to carry out attacks in the country. The French authorities made the arrests in the cities of Strasbourg and Marseille, Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said. Cazeneuve told reporters during a press conference that the individuals were of French, Moroccan and Afghan origin.
