Two injured in Paris gun attack

Two people were injured after gun shots were fired in Paris, France, Thursday. The two attackers are at large, while a third was apprehended by the police. According to sources, the incident that unfolded at the ‘Chez Papa’ restaurant is not connected to a terrorist attack. It is believed the attack is related to personal differences. Man with handguns arrested at Paris Disneyland

French police have arrested a man who was carrying two handguns at the Disneyland amusement park in Paris, an interior ministry official said.

According to local media, the 28-year-old man was carrying the two guns and a copy of the Koran in a bag.

He was detained while entering a hotel next to the theme park, after two handguns were detected by X-ray machines.

The Syrian man who was shot dead by French police last week may have been involved in the sexual assaults occurred in Cologne on New Year’s Eve.

ISIS supporter Walid Salihi was arrested in 2014 in Cologne for sexually assaulting women in a night club.

Salihi is said to have ‘rubbed the behinds of females’ and touched their ‘intimate parts,’ according to a German police report.

French police shot dead a knife-wielding man Jan. 7 as he attacked a police station in Paris, a year to the day since jihadist gunmen killed 12 people at Charlie Hebdo newspaper.

The man reportedly shouted "Allahu Akbar" (God is Greatest) and was wearing what appeared to be an explosives vest although it was later found to be a fake, police and government sources said.

French police shot dead a man holding a knife who tried to enter a police station, according to police union sources.

A sheet of paper showing the Islamic State flag and claims of responsibility written in Arabic were found on the man, the Paris prosecutor said in a statement.

Cazeneuve said that two French nationals had been arrested in connection with the suspected plot in the region of Orleans, southwest of Paris, on 19 December.
