Bulgaria: Cost for a Seriously Sick Person with COVID-19 is Over BGN 3,500
The costs for the treatment of a person infected with COVID-19, who is hospitalized, vary, but in any case are over BGN 3,500. The cost of the clinical path is BGN 1,200. This was explained on the air of "Hello, Bulgaria" by lawyer Svilena Dimitrova from the Bulgarian Hospital Association.
Another 5000 Voting Machines Could Be Delivered for November Elections
"Ciela Norma", the company supplying the voting machines for previous elections is ready to deliver 5,000 voting machines at a price of BGN 5,200 per device, which makes a total of BGN 26 million.
This is clear from a letter sent to the CEC, which was read to the members of the commission by its Deputy Chairman Emil Voynov.
Currency Exchange Bureau in Sunny Beach Scams Tourists
A new scam at the seaside. In an exchange office in the resort of Sunny Beach foreign currencies were exchanged with old Bulgarian banknotes.
The incident took place on the morning of August 16 on the central alley in the resort. At a street exchange, a Moldovan received for the amount of 150 euros its equivalent in Bulgarian levs - 300 levs (BGN), but an old issue of banknotes.
Bulgaria's Total Exports Increase by 19%, Imports by 23%
In the period January - May 2021, goods worth a total of BGN 26,355.3m were exported from Bulgaria, which is 19.4% more than in the same period of 2020, according to preliminary data from the National Statistical Institute. In May 2021 the total exports of goods amounted to BGN 5,084.7m and increased by 32.3% compared to the same month of the previous year.
