Turkey faces tough France test at Eurobasket
A tough test awaits Turkey on Sept. 12 at Eurobasket 2015 when it takes on title favorite France, led by all-time Eurobasket top scorer Tony Parker, for a quarterfinal berth.
The "12 Giant Men" finished Group B fourth after a 111-102 victory in overtime against Iceland on Sept. 10 to set up the Round of 16 clash with France in Lille.

Serbia tops Group B in EuroBasket 2015
Serbia's 101-82 victory over Italy secured it the top spot in Group B of the EuroBasket competition currently under way.
Commenting after the match on Thursday in Berlin, head coach Aleksandar Djordjevi saidhis team was yet to play difficult matches at the European championship.

The Greek national basketball team wrapped up first spot in Group C of the 2015 Eurobasket competition in Zagreb, after registering their 4th win in a row against dangerous Slovenia (83-72).
Ex-national player arrested over failure to pay worker compensation
Former Greek national basketball team player Fanis Christodoulou was arrested and then bailed on the island of Paros on Friday after a court ordered him to pay 280,000 euros in compensation to an employee, money which the ex-athlete says he does not have.
Serbia lose to France, end eight at Women's WC
ISTANBUL - Serbia finished in eighth place at the 2014 FIBA World Championship for Women in Turkey, after losing to France 88-74 (19-20, 22-14, 19-19, 28-21) on Sunday.
This is still a huge success for the Serb team, given that they had come to the championship as 28th in the FIBA rankings, ahead only of Mozambique.
