The most controversial vote in Turkey in years
A relative of mine was an observer of a vote count at an Istanbul ballot box for the April 16 referendum on whether to shift Turkey from a parliamentary system to an executive presidential one. As she later told me, the count resulted in 275 "No" and 84 "Yes" votes.

Tension Over Declarations Among Voters in Turkey's Bursa Continues
There are queues and tension during the snap elections in voting sections in Turkey.
In Bursa, where there are traditionally a huge number of people wishing to vote, the eelction process was halted for about ten minutes when voters burst into the building.
Voting Process in Australia, New Zealand Now Over
The Central Election Committee reports that the voting day in New Zealand and Australia is now over. The average turnout in Bulgaria was 25.31% at 1 pm. The highest level of participation so far has been registered in the Sofia District - 31.37%.

The Election Campaign is Ending
At 00:00 Bulgarian time, the election campaign officially ends before the elections for Bulgaria's 44th parliament take place on Sunday, March 26.
Saturday is a day for reflection, and agitation is prohibited.
Tomorrow, the final number of polling stations in the country will become known.

Turkish citizens in UK to vote in referendum early April
Turks living in the U.K. will go to polling stations early April for Turkey's April 16 referendum on constitutional changes.
Turkish citizens will be able to cast their votes in London and the Scottish capital, Edinburgh, between April 6 and 9, Turkey's consul general in London said.

Bulgarians Abroad Not To Be Able To Mark Preferences on Ballots in Snap Elections
Bulgarians who will vote in the country in the snap parliamentary elections on March 26 will be able to note their preference for a candidate for parliamentary deputy on the list of the preferred political formation but Bulgarians voting abroad will not be able to do so.
Bulgaria's Constitutional Court Abolishes Compulsory Voting
Bulgaria's Constitutional court has abolished unanimously compulsory voting, reported Praven Svyat. The decision was adopted with 11 votes "for" since Anastas Anastasov was absent from the meeting on Thursday.
Machines for Electronic Voting To Be Delivered by March 10
The machines for electronic voting have to be delivered to Bulgaria no later than March 10, 2017, reported BGNES.
The installation of the software has to be completed by March 18, while the machines have to be delivered to voting sections by March 25.
The machines for electronic voting must be easy to transport and user-friendly.
Bulgaria Must Install Voting Machines in Every Polling Station, Court Rules
The Supreme Administrative Court has ruled Bulgarian authorities have to make sure electronic voting is enabled in every polling station in the country at the snap election scheduled for the end of March.
