Renovation of Nazi Ally’s House in Kosovo Halted After Outcry
The UN Development Program, UNDP and the EU announced on Tuesday that they have halted the renovation of the former house of Kosovo Albanian politician Xhafer Deva, who was interior minister in a Nazi collaborationist regime during World War II.
Germany threatens Pristina: "Do not distort the truth"
"Very concerned about restauration plans for Xhafer Deva's house, a known Nazi collaborator/protagonist of infamous SS Skanderbeg Div. No history whitewashing! Don't distort the truth about the Holocaust or war crimes committed by the Nazis and local collaborators. Protect the facts," the German ambassador said on Twitter.
Whoopi Goldberg suspended by ABC for Holocaust comments
US actress Whoopi Goldberg on Feb. 1 was suspended from the talk show she hosts for two weeks after saying that the Nazi genocide of six million Jews "was not about race."
Despite an apology from the host of "The View" talk show, ABC News President Kim Godwin said she had decided it was not enough.

We Pay Tribute to the Victims of the Holocaust
Today, people around the world will commemorate and honor those who lost their lives by the Nazi machine during World War II. The UN General Assembly has chosen to declare the date on which the Auschwitz camp was liberated in 1945 as International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

UN approves resolution condemning denial of Nazi Holocaust
The U.N. General Assembly approved an Israeli-sponsored resolution on Jan. 20 condemning any denial of the Holocaust and urging all nations and social media companies "to take active measures to combat antisemitism and Holocaust denial or distortion."
Zorčič speaks on anti-Semitism at Auschwitz memorial event
Oswiecim/Krakow/Ljubljana – Parliamentary Speaker Igor Zorčič attended a two-day memorial event in Poland, where he addressed the participants of a symposium on anti-Semitism in Krakow on Monday. Ljubljana gets more stumbling stones for Holocaust victims
Ljubljana – Another seven stumbling stones or Stolpersteine will be laid in Ljubljana on Thursday to honour the memory of the city’s Jewish citizens who were torn from their homes during WWII and taken to concentration camps in Europe. The opening of an exhibition on the story of a Ljubljana Jewish family will follow the stone-laying ceremony.
