November starts with unseasonably good weather
People enjoy the sunshine next to the sea in Thessaloniki on Wednesday. The unseasonably good weather is forecast to continue Thursday, with temperatures set to reach 27 degrees Celsius (80.6 Fahrenheit) in Athens, the first day of November, and 26 C (78.8 F) in Thessaloniki. Temperatures are set to dip slightly over the coming days, reaching 23 C (73.4 F) on Saturday.

Bulgaria and Many Other Countries Moved the Arrows Back an Hour
On the last Sunday in October, we moved the clock's arrows one hour back to go to the winter time. In fact, it is the accepted astronomical time, while summer time is extraordinary.
We change the clocks so that we can make the most of daylight to coincide with the active hours of the day, explains Severina Yorgova from the Regional History Museum in Shumen.
Winter time starts on Sunday
Clocks on Sunday will turn back by one hour for the start of Winter Time, in what could be the last time the twice-yearly seasonal clock change is implemented.
The change will happen at 4 a.m., when clocks will turn back to 3 a.m.
