INDIAN WELLS - Serbia's Novak Djokovic, the world number one in men's tennis singles, is seeded in the first round of the Indian Wells ATP tournament and will face the winner of the tie between Australian Aleksandar Vukic and a qualifier in the second round.

Kecmanovic loses to Draper in Acapulco quarters

ACAPULCO - Serbian tennis player Miomir Kecmanovic lost 6-2, 6-2 to Briton Jack Draper in the quarter-finals of the ATP tournament in Acapulco on Friday.

Draper, who won after just 83 minutes of play, will next face Australian Alex de Minaur, who beat Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas 1-6, 6-3, 6-3.

The prize money in Acapulco is 2,206,080 dollars.

ACAPULCO - Serbian tennis player Miomir Kecmanovic is through to the quarter-finals of the Acapulco ATP tournament after beating German Daniel Altmaier 6-4, 6-4 on Thursday morning.

World number 53 Kecmanovic, who won after an hour and 33 minutes of play, is now 2-0 head-to-head against Altmaier, who is 57th in the ATP rankings.

World number 60 Kecmanovic won after two hours and 37 minutes of play.

Watanuki is placed 102nd in the ATP rankings.

Kecmanovic will next face German Jan-Lennard Struff.
