The historic center of Athens and the neighborhoods of Exarchia, Koukaki and Neos Cosmos are the areas with the greatest concentration of apartments available for short-term lettings in the Greek capital on Airbnb, according to data compiled by the independent monitoring service Inside Airbnb, which tracks the flow of ads on the online platform.

The selection on Tuesday, April 4, is of Nikolaj Arcel's award-winning "A Royal Affair," about a young queen married to a mad king who falls his love with the court physician and helps him start a revolution. The screening starts at 7 p.m.

Connect Athens | Athens | March 15

Community Connect Athens meets on Wednesday, March 15, from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at the Swedish Center in Plaka. Besides coffee, cake and conversation, participants can also stock up on used books, DVDs and CDs, as well as purchase quality secondhand garments, homemade preserves and handmade greetings cards. Proceeds benefit the Anglican Church and the charities it supports.
