Vucic expects opening of Chapters 32, 35 by year's end
BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic expressed expectation on Wednesday at a meeting with Chairman of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs Elmar Brok that Serbia will open Chapters 32 and 35 in the negotiations with the EU by the end of the year.
Military Police, Military Security Agency probe incident
BELGRADE - Serbian Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic stated on Tuesday that the Military Police and the Military Security Agency are gathering information about the incident that occurred during the Belgrade Pride Parade on Sunday, when members of the Gendarmerie used force against Andrej Vucic, brother of Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.
PM Vucic opens utility equipment factory in Senta
SENTA - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic opened a RASCO-TAMP Ltd. utility equipment factory in Senta on Tuesday and said that the Croatian investors need not worry about exports to Eastern markets, the EU or other countries.

Vucic opens jet engine parts plant in Ada
ADA - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, Vojvodina Assembly Speaker Istvan Pastor and Israeli Ambassador to Serbia Yossef Levy on Tuesday opened a new plant at the Precision Casting Foundry in Ada that will manufacture jet engine parts.
"I am certain that Serbia has a future that is better and happier than its present," Vucic said at the opening ceremony.

Serbian Prepares Grand Military Parade for Putin
Russia confirmed on Tuesday that President Vladimir Putin will visit Belgrade on October 16 at the invitation of Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.
"The President of Russia will take part in celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Belgrade from Nazi occupation.

After the meeting, Vucic and Chepurin will address the media, the Serbian government Office for cooperation with the media released.

Pride Parade held without major incident
BELGRADE - The Belgrade Pride Parade was held on Sunday, joined by of a large number of politicians and ambassadors and with heavy police presence, and there was no major incident.
The police were involved only in minor clashes along the edges of the city centre.
