Turkey shells YPG targets in northern Syria in retaliation
Turkish artillery on Feb. 13 bombarded People's Protection Units (YPG) targets in northern Syria, Turkish security sources has told private broadcaster CNNTürk.
The targets hit were near the town of Azaz in northern Syria, a Turkish government source told Reuters, without elaborating on the extent of the shelling or why it had been carried out.

Rocket fire from Syria wounds two in Turkey
A rocket fired from Syria on Jan. 23 slammed into the town of Kilis on the Turkish side of the border, wounding two people, reports said, quoting the local governorate.
The rocket hit a street causing an explosion that damaged nearby buildings and wounded an 18-year-old youth and a 14-year-old Syrian refugee girl, the semi-official Anadolu Agency said.

Russia bombs Azaz, just five km away from Turkish borders
Russian warplanes bombed a civilian settlement in northwestern Syrian town of Azaz located just five km away from Syria-Turkey borders.
The attack has not yet officially confirmed, but British Observatory for human rights reported that five people are dead including one child.
Syria air strikes hit Nusra after attack on Western-backed rebels: Monitor
Warplanes believed to be part of a U.S.-led alliance struck Nusra Front positions in northern Syria on July 31 following an attack by the al Qaeda-linked group on Western-backed rebels in the area, a group tracking the war said.
First fighters trained and equipped by US, Turkey abducted by al-Nusra in Syria
The al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front has abducted 18 members of a U.S.-backed rebel group in northern Syria along with their leaders as they returned from a U.S.-led train-equip program in neighboring Turkey, Anadolu Agency has reported.
The group of 54 fighters had started proceeding into Syria's interior on July 13 after their training program was completed.
