Ten Syrian migrants have been reported missing and five others have been rescued after an inflatable boat capsized off the Turkish resort town of Bodrum.

A dead body of a Syrian man was found on a rocky shore of Turkey's resort town of Bodrum, thought to be one of the thousands of migrants who set sail in the Aegean Sea in order to reach Europe for a better life. 

A nun mosaic in a 1600-year-old historic church at a popular bay area of the Turkish resort town of Bodrum has been looted, sparking angry reaction from environmental advocacy groups amid rumors about tourism investment plans in the bay area.

SunExpress, a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, completed the first half of 2015 with an 18 percent increase in passengers, compared to the same period in 2014, it said in a press release.

A Syrian man who lost his wife and 3-year-old son in a capsized boat heading to the Greek island of Kos burst into tears as he identified his family in the resort town of Bodrum. 

Seventeen Syrian refugees, including five children, drowned Sept. 27 when their boat sank in Turkish waters on its way to Greece.

The Turkish coastguard recovered the bodies from a wooden boat that had set off from the Turkish holiday resort town of Bodrum for the Greek island of Leros, Do?an News Agency reported.

The 5th Bodrum Turkish Films Week will be organized between Sept. 29 and Oct. 4 in the southwestern resort town.  

At a press conference held on Sept. 22 at the Trafo Bodrum Hakan Aykan Culture and Arts Center, Bodrum Cinema and Culture Association head Cenk Sezgin said many films will be shown during the event this year. 

Eight people were wounded and dozens of cars were swept away in flooding after heavy rain on the evening of Sept. 22 in Turkey's Aegean resort town of Bodrum, just a day before the start of the Eid al-Adha holiday on Sept. 24.

The rain began pouring on the town's neighborhoods on the night of Sept. 22 and quickly made streets and avenues unpassable. 

It is like this during every holiday (?Bayram? in Turkish) season. Then a few days later after Bayram, they would say I was right and that I was right again.
