MEPs to Vote in Motion on Brexit Talks Progress Today
The European Parliament will today debate and vote on a motion which states that the required "sufficient progress" has not yet been made for talks on a post-Brexit trade deal to begin.
Britain had hoped to have advanced enough for EU leaders to green light trade discussions this month.

The European Union wants Britain to end uncertainties over the terms of its exit from the bloc, the EU's chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier said on Thursday, quoted by Reuters.
British PM to make Brexit speech in Italy next week: Spokesman
British Prime Minister Theresa May will travel to Italy next week to make a major speech on Brexit, Downing Street said on Sept. 13.
"On Friday, Sept. 22, the prime minister will give a speech in Florence to update on Brexit negotiations so far," her spokesman said.
Floods Took Six Lives in Tuscany
Six people have died and three are missing in the Italian town of Livorno, Tuscany, due to floods, Reuters reported on Sunday.
According to the France press agency quoting firefighters, the victims of heavy rainfall are over five, four of whom are a family found in their flooded house in Livorno, where four hours of heavy rain poured over the city, turning streets into rivers.

Asteroid to pass by Earth on September 1 (video)
A massive asteroid estimated to be 2.7 miles wide is set to make a ‘relatively close encounter’ with Earth on September 1.
Dubbed ‘Florence,’ the huge space rock will pass just 4.4 million miles from our planet – or, about 18 times the distance between Earth and the moon.

Foo Fighters debut new song at Athens show [Video]
Iconic American alt-rock band Foo Fighters premiered a new song titled "Arrows" at an invitation-only concert in Athens's Roman-era Herod Atticus Theater on Monday night.
The concert in the Greek capital was the final date in the band's European tour and was filmed for the popular PBS TV series "Landmarks Live in Concert," which is hosted by Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.
