Consumer confidence jumps in Turkey after election
The consumer confidence index increased in November 2015 to its highest level since April 2014, with a 22.9 point rise from last month, data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜ?K) revealed on Nov. 20.
Consumer confidence jumped to 77.15 points in November from 62.78 points in October, according to TÜ?K data prepared in cooperation with the Central Bank.

Bulgarian Businessman Reportedly Acquires Vivacom for EUR 330 M
The Bulgarian businessman Spas Rusev has reportedly acquired the leading Bulgarian telecommunications company Vivacom after a bidding, which lasted for nearly sixteen hours.
According to media reports, he won the auction by offering EUR 330 M, Darik radio reports.
The other bidder was the Greek businessman Panos Germanos, who is owner of the Olympia Group.
Two Bidding in Sale of Bulgaria's Vivacom
There are two bidders to acquire Bulgaria's Vivacom, in an auction that started Thursday morning and has been going on for more than 12 hours.
Bulgarian daily 24 Chasa wrote Thursday evening it was "nearly a hundred percent certain" the two candidates were Spas Rusev (a Bulgarian) and Panos Germanos (a Greek citizen who joined forces with hedge fund Third Point).

Turkish supporters attending an international football friendly against Greece on Nov. 17 refused to participate in a minute of silence following the recent jihadist attacks on France, choosing instead to boo the commemoration.
British Airways gives Kalamata a vote of confidence with direct flights
British Airways is offering new direct flights from London’s Heathrow airport to the city of Kalamata, in the southern Peloponnese, starting in April 30, 2016, through to September 24.

Security Concerns Cancel Friendly Football Match Between Belgium, Spain
The friendly football match between Belgium and Spain, which was scheduled to take place at the King Baudouin stadium in Brussels on Tuesday evening, was cancelled due to security concerns following the attacks in Paris on Friday.
The attacks at six sites across the French capital claimed the lives of 129 people and left hundreds injured.
