Turkish Foreign Ministry on Dec. 14 said that U.S. sanctions will harm ties, adding that Ankara will retaliate as necessary.

The U.S. Treasury Department on Dec. 14 imposed sanctions on Turkey over its purchase of the Russian S-400 missile defense system.

Russia and Turkey are in talks about extra deliveries of Russian-made S-400 missile defense systems to Ankara, the head of Russia's defense sales agency said on Wednesday, Reuters quoted the Interfax news agency as saying.

Russia will make first delivery of the S-400 missile systems to Turkey in July, Russian news agencies cited the head of Russian state arms exporter Rosoboronexport saying on Wednesday, in accordance with the earlier-stated plans.
"We are making first delivery in July as part of out plans," Alexander Mikheev is quoted as saying by RIA news agency.

Russia will start delivering its S-400 missile defense systems to Turkey in July, Russian state arms exporter Rosoboronexport head Alexander Mikheev said April 24, according to Interfax news agency.

Russia will begin delivering its advanced S-400 missile defence system to Turkey in 2019, the Interfax news agency cited Russia's state arms exporter Rosoboronexport as saying on Tuesday.

Russia's sophisticated S-400 anti-ballistic missile defense systems will be delivered to Turkey in 2019, state arms exporter Rosoboronexport has announced, amid the latter's feud with NATO allies over the deployment of these multibillion non-NATO systems on its soils, which have raised concern over the security of allied weaponry and radar systems. 

Saudi Arabia has agreed to buy Russian S-400 surface-to-air missile systems, Saudi-owned al-Arabiya television reported on Thursday.

The report came during a visit by Saudi King Salman to Moscow.

Russia has finalized a contract for the delivery of advanced air-defense missile systems to Iran, the head of a Russian state-controlled industrial conglomerate said on Nov. 9.

Turkish defense producer ASELSAN has held negotiations with Russian and European companies in a successful effort to expand its market, board member Sedat Nazl?bilek told Anadolu Agency on Aug. 31.

Russia lifts ban on sale of S-300s to Iran

MOSCOW -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree lifting a ban on sale of S-300 air defense systems to Iran, the Kremlin has announced.
