Kosovo Police Remove Surveillance Cameras in Mainly Serb Town
Kosovo police on Thursday removed surveillance cameras in the southern Serb-majority municipality of Shterpce/Strpce, acting on the orders of the Ferizaj/Urosevac Basic court and prosecution.
They were told to remove surveillance cameras allegedly controlled by the Serbian authorities, and empty a previously closed municipal building.
Wanted Serb Businessman ‘Must Be Arrested’ If Return to Kosovo Confirmed
Powerful Belgrade-backed businessman and politician, Milan Radoicic, must be arrested if he is in Kosovo as Serbian media have reported, Rasim Maloku from the Ferizaj/Urosevac Basic Prosecution told BIRN on Wednesday.
"The arrest warrant [for Radoicic] related to the 'Brezovica'case is active," Maloku said.
Strpce, ADA, and UNDP open all-women social enterprise
Local women gathered to participate in the official opening of the first all-women social enterprise in the village of Sevce, Shterpce/Strpce Municipality. All of them are first time employed and very proud of their achievement.
