Contract signed with EIB on upgrading judiciary buildings
BELGRADE - The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Serbian government on Monday signed a financial contract on the upgrading of judiciary buildings.
It was signed by Serbian Minister of Finance Dusan Vujovic and EIB VP Dario Scannapieco, after Scannapieco's meeting with Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic, the EIB said in a statement.
Vucic, Scannapieco: EIB fully supports Serbia
BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic on Monday spoke with European Investment Bank (EIB) Vice-President Dario Scannapieco, who praised the very good results of the Serbian government's economic policy, expressing readiness on behalf of the EIB to fully support the further reform process in Serbia.

EUR 600 M for SMEs in Bulgaria Allocated Under Juncker Investment Plan
The Head of the European Commission Representation in Bulgaria Ognyan Zlatev announced that an additional EUR 600 M in credit have been provided for small and medium-size enterprises in Bulgaria under a joint project of the European Union, the Bulgarian government and the European Investment Bank.

Eurobank signs loan guarantee deal for Greek small businesses

Construction of Athens Metro Line 4 to begin in early 2017
The long-awaited tender for the construction of Line 4 of the Athens Metro is set to take place in early 2017, authorities said Monday.
The extension will link the densely populated suburbs of Galatsi, Kypseli, Kaisariani and Zografou to the other three lines of the metro network.
EIB OKs EUR 7.3 B for Investment in Europe
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has said it has approved EUR 7.3 B in loans for investment across Europe and around the world.
At a meeting in Malta's capital Valetta, its Board of Directors gave the green light for the funding to be allocated to strategic infrastructure, the environmental and knowledge economy as well as private sector schemes.
