Bulgarian Car Tyre Maker Vidachim to Cut Staff by 150, not 314
Bulgarian Vidin-based car tyre maker Vidachim has downsized the scale of planned staff cuts from 314 to 150.
The new plans were announced on Monday after a meeting of Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova with workers and senior executives of the plant.

Over 300 employees of Bulgaria's Vidin-based car tyre maker Vidachim will be unemployed as of Monday.
Vidachim, one of the largest companies in Bulgaria's poorest northwestern region, will issue redundancy notices to 314 of its 446 workers amid a lack of orders, according to reports of private TV station Nova TV.

Bulgarian Tyre Manufacturer Vidachim Faces Closure
Bulgaria's car tyre maker Vidachim may stop functioning, leaving 600 people unemployed in the poorest region in the country and in the EU.
Tsvetomir Leshtarski, CEO of Vidin-based Vidachim, told the State Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (DKEVR) that the company would stop manufacturing industrial tyres on Thursday.
