Abramovich anchors superyachts worth $1.2 bln in Türkiye

Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich - sanctioned by the U.K., European Union and Canada - has anchored two more superyachts in Turkish waters, bringing the total count to four.

According to Luxury Launches, a website publishing stories about the world's jet set, the 55-year-old tycoon brought 67-meter-long "Garcon" and 55-meter-long "Halo" to the Aegean coastal district of Göcek.

Cook on cargo ship died of heart disease, coroner finds

A preliminary coroner's report on Monday said that the death of the cook on a quarantined cargo ship was due to heart problems and not a contagious disease.

The Antigua-flagged Blue Note alerted Greek authorities that its 40-year-Russian cook had died of unknown causes while en route from Italy to Greece, raising concerns that he may have been infected with a contagious disease.

Hurricane Irma leaves devastation in its path

Hurricane Irma Causes Devastation in the Caribbean

Hurricane Irma has caused widespread destruction across the Caribbean, reducing buildings to rubble and leaving at least 10 people dead.

The small island of Barbuda is said to be "barely habitable". Officials warn that St Martin is almost destroyed, and the death toll is likely to rise.

Irma is a category five hurricane, the highest possible level.
