Australian mother abandons children to join ISIL

A Sydney mother has abandoned her two children and fled to Syria for a new life under the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), media reported May 26, becoming one of more than 100 Australians who have joined the jihadists.
 
The Australian government said it was deeply disturbed by the report and that it was monitoring the situation closely.
 

Sweden Wins 2015 Eurovision Song Contest

With his song titled Heroes, Sweden's Måns Zelmerlöw has collected most votes of viewers at the final of this year's Eurovision Song Contest.

This comes after a tough challenge with Polina Gagarina from Russia and the trio Il Volo (Italy).

Bulgaria did not take part in this year's edition, but the Bulgarian National Television aired the show live.

MADR's Botanoiu: We have signed agreement to deliver agri-food products to Arab countries

Romania has signed an agreement for the delivery of agri-food products to Arab countries that provides for the setup of a collection centre in Constanta and another one in Doha or Abu Dhabi, State Secretary with Romania's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR) Daniel Botanoiu told a national vegetable farming conference on Friday.

Romania, the 20th to take to the stage in Eurovision Final

AGERPRES special correspondent Oana Ghita reports: Voltaj, the pop-rock band that represents Romania at the Eurovision contest, will be the 20th to perform in Saturday's Grand Final, following the organizers' decision on the order of the competing performances in the 2015 edition of the European Song Contest.
