Iran is back in the game. 

This is giving birth to a totally new order not only within Iran, but also in the regional and global scene. Yet this tectonic shift mostly affects the Muslim world and the Shiite-Sunni rift.

Over 45 Muslim countries have condemned Iran for a recent attack on the Saudi Embassy and for supporting terrorism at a meeting organized by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). 

Two female Russian passengers were removed from a Turkish Airlines (THY) flight to Bahrain at Atatürk Airport in Istanbul on the night of Jan. 10 after complaints about their behavior on board the aircraft, the state-run Anadolu Agency has reported, citing Turkish security sources.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an on Jan. 6 refused to condemn Saudi Arabia for its execution of 47 convicts, including a prominent Shiite cleric, saying it was an "internal legal matter" of the kingdom.
