Jorovic reaches final at Junior French Open
PARIS - Serbian tennis player Ivana Jorovic managed to get into the final at the Junior French Open, after defeating Francoise Abanda of Canada 6-4, 6-0 in the semi-final on Friday.
In order to claim the title, Jorovic will have to beat the winner of the other semi-final match between Russia's Darya Kasatkina and Marketa Vondrousova of the Czech Republic.

Romania Puts Controversial Gold Mine on Hold
Romania’s lower chamber, the Chamber of Deputies, on Tuesday overhelmingly rejected a mining law that would have enabled Canada’s Gabriel Resources to start a controversial gold mining project in central Transylvania.
Last September, the centre-left government of Victor Ponta sent a bill to parliament to approve the project to dig for gold in Rosia Montana.

Djokovic eases past Tsonga to reach Roland Garros quarters
PARIS - Serbia's top-ranking male tennis player Novak Djokovic reached the quarter-finals of the Roland Garros Grand Slam tennis tournament on Sunday by beating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France 6-1, 6-4, 6-1.
The current world number two now has a 12-5 head-to-head record against Tsonga.
