The President-Elect had indirectly tried to influence the USA vote at the UN Security Council in order to veto the motion condemning Israeli settlements in the Palestinian Territories. However, President Obama opted the USA to abstain.

Angry Netanyahu rejects ‘shameful’ UN resolution
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is infuriated by UN Security Council’s Resolution condemning Israeli settlements in the occupied territories.
He characterized the motion “shameful” and called the ambassadors of the Security Council countries to rebuke their decision.

The United States on Dec. 23 allowed the U.N. Security Council to adopt a resolution demanding an end to Israeli settlement building, defying heavy pressure from long-time ally Israel and President-elect Donald Trump for Washington to wield its veto.
All 12 Victims of Berlin Truck Attack Identified
All 12 victims of the truck attack in Berlin have been identified. According to the online edition of Spiegel, six men and six women were killed. Out of the 12 victims eight are German, four are foreigners - from the Czech Republic, Italy, Israel and Poland.
Among the injured, there are citizens of Israel, Hungary, Finland, Spain and the UK. Most of them are still in hospital.

Turkey-Israel: A peace pipeline on the way?
Energy cooperation has been a major force driving Turkish-Israeli reconciliation.
Israel's Leviathan gas field, the country's largest natural gas reservoir, was discovered in 2010 and is believed to hold 621 billion cubic meters of gas.
If a deal is concluded, an estimated 10 billion cubic meters of gas will be exported to Turkey each year.
