Turkey cheaper than Europe but cars, booze, tobacco remain expensive
Turkey is more expensive than a few European countries but it remains cheaper than a majority of the continent, according to a new comparative purchasing power parity index released June 19 by the Turkish Statistics Institute (TÜ?K).
However, car prices stood above European levels, as did the prices of alcoholic beverages, tobacco and consumer electronics.

Montenegro Seeks Interpol Help in Plagiarism Row
Montenegro's prosecutor's office has told the country's police to seek Interpol's help to determine whether Science Minister Sanja Vlahovic plagiarised her scientific work, media reported on Thursday.
The state prosecutor interrogated Vlahovic in May over claims that she plagiarized her research on tourism, after a watchdog, the Center for Civic Education, filed a law suit.

Turkey crushes Montenegro in Eurobasket Women 2015
The Turkish women's national basketball team defeated Montenegro 61-41 in their first game in Group E of the second round of the European Women Basketball Championship.
The "Fairies of Basket" put out a strong display to maintain control of the game throughout at the Fonix Hall in Debrecen, Hungary.

Germany Tells Montenegrins to Stay at Home
The German ambassador in Montenegro, Gudrun Steinacker, on Monday said Montenegrin citizens planning to live and work in Germany illegally will "certainly fail to succeed".
She said it was difficult to obtain accurate data on the number of citizens from the north of Montenegro who had gone to Germany to find jobs but noted that "a few thousand people are being mentioned in public.
