Yemen's Aden governor killed in suicide car bombing: Residents, security sources
The governor of Yemen's Aden province Jaafar Mohammed Saad was killed on Dec. 6 when a suicide bomber rammed his car into the governor's convoy in the western part of Aden city, residents and a local official said.

Tashfeen Malik and her husband Syed Rizwan Farook. who gunned down people at a holiday party for a health center in San Bernardino, California, were affiliated with ISIS. They killed 14 of Farook’s co-workers and injured another 21 people, resulting in the belief that the killing spree was a work-related gripe.

US, allies conduct 13 strikes in Syria, Iraq: US military
A coalition led by the United States conducted 12 strikes against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Iraq on Nov. 30, and hit the militant group with a single strike in Syria, according to a statement released on Dec. 1.
The sole Syria strike was near al-Hawl, hitting a tactical unit, the statement from the Combined Joint Task Force said, according to Reuters.
