Romanian Refinery to Process Iranian Oil

A first cargo of around a million barrels of crude oil is to arrive this week at the Romanian port of Constanta, marking the return of Iran to the European market after years of international sanctions against Tehran. 

A further three million barrels are expected to be shipped to Spain and other European ports for France's Total Oil, according to media reports. 

Bulgaria Grabs Silver at Women's Badminton European Championship

The Bulgarian women's badminton team finished second at this year's edition of the European team championship which was held in Kazan.

In the final played on Sunday, Bulgaria lost to Denmark with 1-3.

However Bulgaria won its all five other matches and improved its performance from the 2014 European championship when the team finished third.

Six Greek beaches among the best in the world

Elafonisi in Greece is among the 14 best beaches in the world and the second best in Europe for 2016, according to the leading travel platform TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards.

Moreover, another five Greek beaches are among the best 15 in Europe: Limnionas Zakynthos, Balos, Agios Pavlos Lindos, Sarakiniko Milos and Egremni Lefkada.

Turkey's first submarine trips aim to revive tourism in Antalya

As Turkey seeks to support its tourism industry amid continued regional problems, one Antalya-based firm has hit upon a novel idea to keep people coming to the coast: A 48-seat submarine.      

Guests from around the world could soon be speeding through the Mediterranean Sea at 130 feet below the waves in "Nemo," a craft built in Finland and renovated in Spain.
