Turkish military in 'firepower' world top 10 list
Turkey ranked eighth on the top 10 list of global military powers, according to the GlobalFirepower.com website.
The ranking of 113 countries published on Global Firepower relies on over 50 different factors, including total firearms, geographical position, and natural resources, to determine the related countries' "PowerIndex" [PwrIndx] score, with 0.0000 being perfect.

Britain 'cannot be blackmailed by EU over exit bill'
British trade minister Liam Fox said on Sept. 1 that Britain would not be blackmailed into agreeing on the cost of leaving the European Union and urged Brussels to move negotiations on to discuss Britain's future relationship with the bloc.
Nigeria Seeks Help from the UK
Nigeria has requested British military equipment to fight the Extreme Islamists from the Boko Haram group, British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson confirmed.
He admitted that the country is seriously considering getting involved with such help.
British soldiers are already training parts of Nigerian forces in land fighting against terrorists.
