Minority wants act that declared them to be Croats annulled
The act, that was issued in the form of an order, states that all members of the Bunjevci ethnic minority in Serbia - regardless of how they declare themselves - are to be considered Croats.

The date is mentioned in the amended proposal of cooperation Djilas has sent to coalition partners Vuk Jeremic and Sasa Jankovic, which the newspaper said it had seen.
The proposal has also been sent to the Left of Serbia, led by Borko Stefanovic. and the Sloga trade union led by Zeljko Veselinovic.

US: Macedonia may be the Next NATO Member
NATO is ready to accept new members. This applies in particular to the candidacy of Macedonia, reports actualno.
The Alliance will continue its policy of "open doors" to welcome new members, US Permanent Representative Kay Bailey Hutchinson said.
In his words, candidates only have to meet certain military requirements as well as standards of democracy.

Party founded by Turks in Germany uses Erdoğan posters in campaign
The Alliance of German Democrats (AD-D) party has hung election posters in Germany's Duisburg province featuring President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, featuring a message for Turkish-origin Germans who are eligible to vote in the country's Sept. 24 federal elections.
"Cast your vote for the friends of Turkey. Let's expand them," the poster reads in Turkish.
Kosovo Holds Tear Gas-Free Assembly Session

Ethnic Hungarian party "counts on cooperation with SNS"
The Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM) is counting on post-election cooperation with the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) at provincial level as well.
SVM leader Istvan Pasztor, who is also the president of the Vojvodina provincial assembly, made the statement on Monday, Tanjug reported.
