Sofia City Prosecutor's Office Asks the Court to Dissolve 33 Political Parties in Bulgaria

Sofia City Prosecutor's Office has asked the court to dissolve 33 political parties in Bulgaria due to their non-participation in the political life of the country and lack of financial statements, the press office of the state prosecution announced on 31 July, reported BNT. 

Bulgaria Parliament Elects Audit Office Deputy Heads

Goritsa Grancharova and Toshko Todorov are the new deputy heads of the National Audit Office of Bulgaria followig a Thursday vote in the National Assembly.

Their candidacies were put forward by the new Chair of the national auditing body, Tsvetan Tsvetkov, whose candidacy was approved by Parliament in end-March.

Bulgarian Deputy PM Kuneva Unveils Proposal for Unified Anti-Corruption Unit

The amended project for the strategy on prevention and countering corruption and organized crime s now completed.

The Ministry of Finance needs to outline the financial framework for the project, stated Deputy PM Meglena Kuneva in an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio.
