Serbia, Bosnia Pledge Closer Ties After Tensions

Serbia and Bosnia signed four important protocols on Wednesday at their first joint government session in Sarajevo.

The first concerns research into missing persons from the conflict of the 1990s, protection of the historic Mehmed Pasa Sokolovic bridge in Visegrad, eastern Bosia, and stronger cooperation in the telecommunication and environmental sectors.

Bulgarian President Calls on Balkans to Guarantee Stability of Investors

Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev called on the countries from Southeastern Europe to guarantee the stability of investors in the region.

Plevneliev stated this during his meeting with Denis Zvizdic, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the leaders of the two chambers of the Parliament in Sarajevo on Thursday.

Serbian PM's Bosnia Trip Will Highlight Economic Ties

Two weeks after Vucic took office as Prime Minister on April 27, he will pay a one-day visit to Sarajevo on Tuesday where he is due to meet Vjekoslav Bevanda, head of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and members of the country's Presidency.

Ahead of the trip, Vucic cited three reasons why he had chosen Bosnia for his first official visit abroad.

Serbian Leader to Visit Bosnia in May

Nebojsa Radmanovic, the Serbian member of the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said Serbia's newly appointed Prime Minister will visit Sarajevo at the invitation of the head of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vjekoslav Bevanda.

Radmanovic said the Serbian leader would be welcome in Bosnia, and that his visit should not be marked by controversy.
