Some 58 million Turkish voters head to the polls this Sunday to choose mayors for nearly 4,000 cities and smaller towns and thousands of city and provincial council members.

The new ambassador of Ukraine to Bulgaria - Olesya Ilashuk, who caused more than mixed reactions, criticized for her lack of diplomatic experience, presented her credentials to Bulgarian President Rumen Radev.

Gülnur Aybet, a senior adviser to the Turkish Presidency, has been appointed as the permanent representative of Turkey to UNESCO.

The decision of the appointment was published in the Official Gazette on Nov. 20.

The Hrant Dink Foundation has established a fellowship scheme with a view to promote cross-border affiliation and cooperation among professionals from the two neighboring countries within the framework of the Support to the Armenia-Turkey Normalization Process program financed by the European Union.
