EBRD to provide 30 mln euros for Turkey’s earthquake regions
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will provide 30 million euros ($32.50 million) in long-term financing to Turkey's Ronesans Gayrimenkul Yatirim to support regions affected by last year's earthquakes.
EBRD invests record 846 mln euros in Serbia in 2023
BELGRADE - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) invested a record 846 mln euros in Serbia in 2023, up by nearly 200 mln euros from 2022 and well above the previous all-time high of 679 mln euros in 2020.
This made Serbia one of the top five recipients of EBRD investments for the first time, the bank said in a statement.

EBRD upgrades Slovenia’s GDP forecast to 5% growth this year
London – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has upgraded by 1.5 percentage points its GDP growth forecast for Slovenia in 2021 to 5%. The institution expects that Slovenia’s economy will expand by a further 4% next year.
Turkish supermarket Migros gets European bank infusion
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has invested 30.8 million Turkish lira ($5.2 million) in lira-denominated bonds of a top Turkish supermarket chains, Migros.
"The new Turkish lira-denominated bond will be listed on Borsa Istanbul and its proceeds will reduce the company's foreign currency exposure," the bank announced on Dec. 23.
