An Earthquake in Romania

An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale shacked Romania on Monday, according to the European Seismological Center, quoted by NOVA.

The quake was recorded at 10.54 local time. Its epicenter was 18 km west of the town of Nerezu, Vrancea County, 140 km north of Bucharest, at a depth of 150 km.

Weak Earthquake Registered Nearby Devin

A 2 - magnitude earthquake is registered on the territory of Bulgaria, nearby Devin, reported BGNES.

The earthquake is felt at 10.19 am with an epicenter 6 km northeast of Devin, 32 km northwest of Smolyan and 136 km southeast of Sofia, with a depth of 15 km, the European Seismological Center said.

No information on damage from the quake has been provided yet.

Two Minor Earthquakes in Southern Bulgaria

A 3.2-strong earthquake was registered in the south of Bulgaria early on Thursday, the European Seismological Center announced.

Its epicenter was 29 km west of the southwestern town of Smolyan and at a depth of 2 km, though the Geophysical Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences places it west of Trigrad, a town near Smolyan.

Earthquake Registered in Western Bulgaria

An earthquake with a magnitude of 2.5 on the Richter scale was registered in western Bulgaria, Friday.

The quake was felt at 8.19 am some 16 kilometers south of Samokov, and 58 kilometers south of the capital city of Sofia at a depth of 2 kilometers, the European Seismological Center reports.

There is no information of victims or material damages.
