Turkey's top court annuls lower court ruling on removing website content

Turkey's Constitutional Court has ruled that the removal of content from websites is a violation of freedom of expression.

In its decision released late on Dec. 8, the Constitutional Court addressed an individual appeal from the owner of an online news portal, made after content was removed from the website through a local court order.

German exports decline in October

Germany's exports declined in October as demand for goods and services from Europe's biggest economy outside slowed outside the region, official data showed on Dec. 9.

German exports fell by a seasonally adjusted 1.2 percent to 99 billion euros ($108 billion) in October, the federal statistics office calculated.
