International media channels have been subjecting Turkey of having double standards by showing those "burning down the streets" as peaceful protestors, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, criticizing international media organizations on Dec. 1.

Europe lacks visionary leaders, and some of them risk the peace of Muslims there, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has said.

French police used tear gas to disperse protesters in front of President Emmanuel Macron's party headquarters, DPA and BTA reported. The protest was held against the background of the ongoing strike against the pension reform.

French police have discovered the Bulgarian woman who escaped from the hospital with her baby, NOVA correspondent in Paris reported.

After being found yesterday, the woman explained that she was scared the authorities will take her child. She is currently under the care of social services.

French police are searching for a young Bulgarian woman who has escaped with her newborn son from a hospital in Montfermeil, one of the poorest suburbs of Paris. Yuliyana is 30 years old, originally from Targovishte. She gave birth to a baby boy on December 15th.

Three Bulgarians and one Frenchman were detained in the French city of Lyon after police officers busted a labor exploitation network.

French police have evacuated at least 900 migrants from a sports hall and a tent camp near the English Channel, due to security and hygiene issues, BTA reported.

Protesters and police have clashed in the French city of Nantes in recent days over the death of Steve Canico. The 24-year-old had been missing for about a month until his body was recently found in the Loire River. Canico is alleged to have fallen into the river as police broke up a late-night open-air techno music festival.

The Police in Lyon arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion that he stands behind the bomb attack in the center of the French city last week, France's press reported, referring to the Paris Prosecutor's Office.

French Interior Minister Christophe Castaner wrote in Twitter that a suspect was arrested for the attack.

French police said they arrested more than 200 "yellow vest" demonstrators in Paris on April 20 as clashes broke out with demonstrators turning out for a 23rd week of anti-government protests.
