Lavrov and Kerry to meet Saturday in Beijing: report
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will meet US Secretary of State John Kerry in Beijing on Saturday ahead of next week's APEC summit, Russian news agencies reported on Friday.
Putin cannot avoid me: Australia PM
Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott on Nov. 6 warned Vladimir Putin he will not be able to avoid a "conversation" over the loss of Australian lives in the downing of Flight MH17 over Ukraine.
Last month Abbott vowed to "shirtfront" the Russian president at the G20 summit in Brisbane next week, although Moscow has yet to respond to his request for a bilateral meeting.

G20 finance chiefs promised Sunday to "clearly communicate" their monetary policy actions "in a timely way", as emerging market member nations welcomed the US Federal Reserve's transparency on its tightening measures.
Anti-poverty group urges G-20 to tackle corruption

Barroso did not choose PM, says PASOK chief

European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso spoke to Antonis Samaras and Evangelos Venizelos in private in November 2011 and encouraged them to block George Papandreous proposal for a referendum on Greeces euro membership, a Financial Times report claimed on Monday.
