Moderate quakes jolt Karpathos
Two moderate quakes, measuring 4.5 and 3.8 on the Richter scale, struck in the southern eastern Aegean shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
The tremors were mostly felt on the island of Karpathos and Rhodes.

Quake, 5.3 Richter, hits off east coast of Rhodes
A moderate earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale shook the southeastern Aegean on Thursday afternoon, and especially the island of Rhodes.
The Geodynamic Institute put the 4.30 p.m. tremor's epicenter some 47 miles off the island's east coast.
There were no reports of injuries or damage.

Moderate quake jolts Lefkada in Ionian Sea
A moderate earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale jolted the Ionian island of Lefkada on Saturday morning, in an area that has seen a spike in seismic activity over recent days.
The Athens-based Geodynamic Institute said that the tremor occurred at 10.05 a.m. and its epicenter was 2 kilometers northwest of Lefkada.

Moderate tremor rattles northwestern Greece
A moderate tremor rattled the area of Ioannina in northwestern Greece on Wednesday morning.
The Athens-based Geodynamic Institute put the 9.49 a.m. earthquake's strength at 4.2 on the Richter scale and its depth at 5 kilometers.

Quake rattles Gulf of Laconia in southern Peloponnese
A quake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale rattled southeastern Peloponnese just before noon on Tuesday morning and was felt some 300 kilometers away in Athens.
The Geodynamic Institute put the epicenter 18 kilometers southeast of the coastal village of Gytheio and 54 kilometers from Sparta, while its depth was at 5 kilometers.
Moderate tremor rattles Sporades islands
A moderate tremor measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale rattled the Sporades island cluster in the northwestern Aegean and parts of the eastern mainland in the early hours of Tuesday.

Eastern Attica coast hit by cluster of small tremors
A cluster of small tremors, with the biggest measuring just 2.7 on the Richer scale, was recorded in eastern Attica on Tuesday morning, though seismologists appear confident this is not a precursor to a bigger event.
Magnitude 4.6 earthquake strikes off the coast of Crete
The Athens-based Geodynamic Institute says a magnitude 4.6 earthquake has struck the area south of Greece's island of Crete.
The institute reported that the earthquake hit shortly after 9 a.m. local time Wednesday with its epicenter located about 67 kilometres south of the town of Chania. Its depth was measured at 22 kilometers.
Consecutive earthquakes hit Athens
Athens was struck by a 3.4 magnitude earthquake at 1.06 pm followed by a 3.2 two minutes later on Friday. The slight tremors, which were felt in the capital, had the epicentre 41km north of Athens, close to the Oinofyta region, according to the Geodynamic Institute.

5.0 magnitude earthquake struck west of Skyros overnight
A 5.0 magnitude earthquake hit a little before 2 am on Thursday in the sea area north west of the island of Skyros. According to the Geodynamic Institute, the tremor had a depth of 10km and struck 93km from Chalkida and was felt in the capital of Athens. The Mayor of Skyros, Michalis Chatzigiannakis was reassuring saying that although the earthquake was felt no damage was reported.
