Magnitude 5.1 tremor rattles Rhodes
A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck east of the island of Rhodes early Thursday morning, without causing injuries or damages.
According to the Athens' Geodynamic Institute, the tremor, whose epicenter was 37 kilometers east of the island, was recorded at a depth of 10 kilometers.

5.4-magnitude tremor strikes off Zakynthos
A 5.4-magnitude earthquake hit 49 kilometers southwest of the Ionian island of Zakynthos on Tuesday afternoon, according to a preliminary reading of the Athens Geodynamic Institute.
The focal depth is estimated at 10 kilometers. The tremor was felt as far as Athens, but no injuries or damages were immediately reported.

Experts helping authorities to create flood warning system
Attica regional authorities are working with experts at the the University of Athens, the National Technical University of Athens and the National Observatory to create an early warning system for floods, Attica Regional Governor Rena Dourou said on Wednesday.
Quake measuring 5.4 occurs near Pylos, southern Greece
A strong undersea quake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale occurred shortly before 9 a.m. near Pylos, in southern Greece.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or serious damage.
According to initial data, the quake occurred 34 kilometers southwest of Pylos at a depth of 10 kilometers.
Quake rattles Gulf of Laconia in southern Peloponnese
A quake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale rattled southeastern Peloponnese just before noon on Tuesday morning and was felt some 300 kilometers away in Athens.
The Geodynamic Institute put the epicenter 18 kilometers southeast of the coastal village of Gytheio and 54 kilometers from Sparta, while its depth was at 5 kilometers.
