Greek police on Friday began clearing out a makeshift migrant camp which sprung up in the former Athens airport over a year ago.

Greek police arrested 4 people during a raid on a night club in Piraeus after discovering the business was actually operating as an illegal swingers’ club. Three people were detained for not having the appropriate health certificates and work permits while the fourth person, a 48-year-old Greek was arrested for facilitating licentiousness.

The former Greek Prime Minister Lukas Papademas has been injured after an envelope he opened, while in his armoured car, exploded.
He and his driver and one more person have been woonded.
Mr. Papademas’ injures are on the abdominal area and legs.
Right now he is in the intensive care of the Evagelismos hospital.
2 held in Greek border region for illegal herb harvesting
Greek police say they have arrested two Albanian men in a border region for allegedly illegally harvesting herbs growing wild on the mountainside.
A police statement Tuesday said the men aged 20 and 22 had gathered 16 kilos of ironwort, a herb used for a traditional tea. They were also charged with illegally entering Greece from Albania, in the Krystallopigi area.
