High-ranking suspects are prosecuted, says prosecutor

BELGRADE -- War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukčević has denied allegations of EU and OSCE representatives that Serbia is not prosecuting high-ranking war crimes suspects.

BELGRADE - Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic denied on Thursday the allegations by EU and OSCE representatives that Serbia is not prosecuting high-ranking war crimes suspects.

BELGRADE - MP Vyacheslav Tetyokin of the Russian State Duma called for release of leader of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) Vojislav Seselj from his detention unit in The Hague, SRS released.

According to the release, at the initiative launched by communist MPs, Tetyokin sent a letter of encouragement to Seselj as one of the most famous political prisoners in Europe.

THE HAGUE - Serb from Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) Milan Lukic who was sentenced for war crimes before the International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia (ICTY) has been transferred to Estonia where he will serve his prison sentence, the ICTY released.
