Kosovo Businesses Complain Government’s Support Package Falls Short
The supplies were supposed to be eaten in March and April, but by May they were rotting in the warehouse of the Artela restaurant in Podujeve/Podujevo in northeastern Kosovo.
Closed since March 21 under government restrictions to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic, restaurants in Kosovo will be allowed to provide takeaway service from May 18, while some are already doing deliveries.
"Measures against Belgrade to be introduced"
He explained that such measures are being introduced instead of suspending fees, because "he wants Kosovo to act as an independent state, which it is".
"Reciprocity will happen because we have decided to act as an independent state. Just as we are.

Private Business in Kosovo Feeling Confident, Report Says
A report published on Monday by the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce said 84 per cent of 505 companies that were interviewed say the business situation in the country is improving.
The head of the Chamber of Commerce, Safet Gerxhaliu, said the private sector had seen positive growth, despite being buffeted by political events.
Kosovo Businesses Say Serbia is Blocking Free Trade
Businesses in Kosovo are protesing against what they see as deliberate attempts by Serbia and Macedonia to block imports from Kosovo, so violating their commitments to free trade.
Pristina economic expert Naim Gashi notes that while the total volume of trade between Kosovo and Serbia is worth around 450 million euros a year, the balance if trade is hugely skewed in Serbia's favour.

EU and Kosovo leaders hailed the entry into force of Kosovo's landmark Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the European Union on 1 April, calling it a milestone in the relationship between the Balkan country and the 28-member EU family.

Djuric: First business forum in Gracanica on May 9
BELGRADE - Marko Djuric, director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM), announced on Thursday that the first business forum of the Serbian and Kosovo Chambers of Commerce will be held in Gracanica on May 9.
