Police said the 25-year-old man arrested over the stabbings has been detained under the Mental Health Act on Tuesday evening after being assessed by medical staff.

24-year-old man arrested over Manchester bombing attack
Police investigating the Manchester bombing have arrested a 24-year-old man.
Greater Manchester Police said the man was arrested on Friday night in Rusholme on suspicion of offences contrary to the terrorism act.
He is the 17th person to be arrested in connection with the May 22 attack at the Manchester Arena.
Six people have since been released without charge.

German police arrest asylum seeker, 17, ‘planning suicide attack in Berlin’!
German police have arrested a 17-year-old asylum-seeker on suspicion of planning a suicide attack in Berlin.
He was detained in the village of Gerswalde, 60 miles north-east of the German capital, after allegedly telling family members “he had joined the jihad”.
He sent a farewell message to his family last week, said police in the state of Brandenburg on Tuesday.
UK Police Nabs 15th Person in Manchester Bomb Probe
British police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with the Manchester bombing that killed 22 people last week, Voice of America radio reported.
The arrest was made late Sunday during a raid in the Gorton area of Manchester on "suspicion of offences contrary to the terrorism act," the Greater Manchester police said in a statement.
Two bombs
There were two bombs on May 22. The one in Britain killed at least 22 people and injured 120 as they came out of a concert at Manchester Arena. It was carried out by a suicide bomber named Salman Abedi and claimed by ISIS. The other was in Thailand, and injured 22 people at a military-linked hospital in Bangkok; nobody has claimed responsibility yet.

Armed police are raiding houses in Moss Side, Manchester, as residents have reported explosions being heard.
One resident said on Twitter there was an explosion near Quantock Close and Selworth Road shortly before 2pm.
Dogs have been seen at the scene and police have closed off roads in the area.
