NIMH: Mostly Cloudy and Cool, with Maximum Temperatures Between 13°C and 18°C

Weather will remain almost unchanged today, mostly cloudy and cool, with maximum temperatures between 13°C and 18°C. Only a few places in the southern and eastern regions will see a light rain. This is the weather forecast as reported to FOCUS News Agency by  the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

The Mountain Service Saved a Man in the Troyan Balkan

Mountain Rescue Service teams have saved a man in the Troyan Balkan, FOCUS News reported.

The man has been declared for a search. He has left from the hut "Kozya stena" to the chalet "Haidushka pesen". The signal for him was submitted by his parents to the SCP. The rescuers found the man in good health and took him back.

NIMH: It Will be Sunny Today, Hot in the Afternoon

Atmospheric pressure will be a little lower than the average for September, and will remain unchanged during the day. Today will be sunny again, hot in the afternoon. There will be a light northwest wind over the Danube plain, southeast wind in the eastern and southern regions. Maximum temperatures between 29°C and 34°C, in Sofia around 30°C.

Weather in Bulgaria Bad for Mountain Tourism Today

The weather will be mostly sunny with only temporary increase in clouds, almost no rain. There will be light northeast wind. The daily temperatures will rise and reach highs of 23°C to 28°C, in Sofia 25°C. This is the weather forecast reported from the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, quoted by Focus News Agency. 

NIMH: Sunny Weather with Temperatures Between 25° and 30°

It will be sunny today. The morning will be cool with temperatures in valleys slightly below 10°C. During the day, the maximum temperatures will reach 25°C to 30°C, in Sofia - about 25°C. This is the weather forecast reported by the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, quoted by Focus News Agency.

Code Orange For Dangerous Weather Across Bulgaria

Code orange warning about possible heavy rainfalls and thunderstorms has been announced in 10 regions of Bulgaria.

This was announced by the National Institute for Hydrology and Meteorology.

In seven other regions of the country cod yellow for dangerous weather was announced, too.

In central and western Bulgaria pouring rains and hailstorms are expected on Sunday.

Code Yellow Over Strong Wind in 12 Regions In Bulgaria

In 12 regions in the country a Yellow Code was issued over strong wind, alerted the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) at the Bulgarian Academy of Science.

The regions are: Vidin, Vratsa, Montana, Pleven, Lovech, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Targovishte, Razgrad, Silistra and Shumen.

Strong, northwest wind with gusts over 20 m/s is expected.

Two Bulgarians Fall Victim to Bad Weather Conditions

Two Bulgarians fell victims to the bad weather conditions in different parts of the country on Monday.

Thus the total number of victims increased to five after three snowboarders were killed by an avalanche in Pirin mountain on Sunday.

A man from the village of Gorna Kula, near the southern town of Krumovgrad, was found lying dead in the snow.
