Main opposition chairman Republican People's Party (CHP) Chair Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has announced the new top executive board following the defeat in the parliamentary and presidential polls.

The opposition Nation Alliance has completed its mission as the elections are over, and all sides will go their separate ways, a senior member of the İYİ (Good) Party has said.

"All alliances are election alliances, and when the election is over, all alliances disappear," İYİ Party Secretary-General Uğur Poyraz said on June 1 in a televised interview.

The Supreme Election Board (YSK) has finalized the results of the runoff presidential polls in which President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan came out to be victorious once again by securing 52.18 percent of the votes.

Erdoğan will take oath on June 3 to start his new five-year term as the 13th president.

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the leader of the Republican People's Party (CHP) who has lost the presidential race in the May 28 polls, will hold meetings with his senior aides and party officials to assess the election results and set a road map for the coming period.

The election watchdog has announced the final results of the May 14 parliamentary polls that pledged a majority for the ruling People's Alliance in the parliament.

Despite a substantial variety of political parties to serve, most of their leaders will be absent from the newly elected parliament.

The 28th term parliament, renewed by a 63-percent change in the deputies, will start its duty with a swearing-in ceremony in the following days.

The final results of the parliamentary elections held on May 14 will be announced on May 30 at the latest, according to Supreme Election Council (YSK) head Ahmet Yener.

"The appeal files that have reached the [Supreme Election] council will be discussed today, and depending on their fate, the parliamentary results will be known today or tomorrow," YSK head Ahmet Yener said on May 29.

Nation Alliance's presidential candidate and main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has witnessed a decline in votes in 11 provinces during the second round of the presidential election.

Despite securing 47.84 percent of the overall vote, Kılıçdaroğlu faced a decrease in support in certain regions.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan headed for victory in the presidential runoff election on May 28, securing another five-year term in the presidency.

Erdoğan is reelected Türkiye's president in the runoff election with 52.14 percent of the votes according to unofficial results, Supreme Election Council (YSK) Chair Ahmet Yener announced.
