Montenegro extradites gang leader to Türkiye

The Montenegrin authorities have extradited Binali Camgöz, the head of an İzmir-based criminal syndicate, to Türkiye following an extensive diplomatic effort led by the Turkish intelligence agency.

Camgöz, wanted in Türkiye for an array of serious offenses, including homicide, drug trafficking, assault, extortion and property damage, fled to Georgia in 2018.

Turkish intel ‘neutralizes’ PKK terrorist responsible for drone attacks

The National Intelligence Organization (MİT) has "neutralized" a PKK terrorist responsible for drone attacks and reconnaissance activities in Iraq's north, security sources announced on Tuesday.

According to the sources, terrorist Zilan Azak, codenamed "Sema Cuya Çevlik," joined PKK/KCK in 2015 after abandoning her university studies.

Türkiye, Iraq to hold new round of security meetings

Türkiye and Iraq will hold a new round of high-level security meetings to discuss mutual efforts to eliminate the presence of PKK terrorists from the latter's territories.

The fourth meeting of the high-level security mechanism will take place in Ankara on Aug. 15 and will be co-chaired by the two countries' foreign ministers Hakan Fidan and Fuad Hussein.

Turkish security forces have arrested a key figure of the PKK terrorist organization's branch in Austria, security sources announced over the weekend.

Hıdır Korkut was tracked down and arrested on July 22 in a joint operation by the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) and the İzmir police as he entered Türkiye.

Turkish intel 'neutralizes' senior PKK member in Syria

The National Intelligence Organization (MİT) has neutralized Ali Dinçer, the PKK's leader in Syria's Jazira region, who was wanted by Interpol with a red bulletin, according to media reports.

The operation was carried out in the Qamishli region, resulting in the elimination of Dinçer, who had been under long-term surveillance by MİT, daily Hürriyet said.
