Britain's ambient music guru Brian Eno presents "The Ship," a new project combining music, sound and light, at the Onassis Cultural Center. "The Ship" installation will remain on display at the cultural center's exhibition hall from noon to 9 p.m. daily through October 23. The artist will deliver a lecture on Tuesday, October 4, starting at 7 p.m.

Award-winning US director, screenwriter and producer Bob Roth, chiefly known for his work in TV series such as "Prison Break," "The Insiders," "Lost," "Grey's Anatomy," "The Mentalist" and "Criminal Minds," as well as films including "Heartbreakers," "Circle of Power" and "Independence Day," talks about the film and TV industry at the Onassis Cultural Center on Thursday, September 29, and Frida

The “Transitions” festival marries art and politics while seeking to broaden and deepen the cultural dialogue with societies shaken by runaway political and economic changes. Held at the Onassis Cultural Center from November 11 to November 29, it brings artists from Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia .

The widely known Lebanese artist Tarek Atoui presents today his music project  I/E Elefsis based on his in situ investigation of the sonic landscape of Elefsina and his collective instrument I/E.

Tarek Atoui was invited by locus athens to create a new work for Elefsina as part of the Aisxylia Festival 2015.

A fascinating show that fuses kathak and flamenco, two dynamic and passionate dance styles, will be presented at Onassis Cultural Center from March 10-15.

Titled Torobaka (meaning bull cow) the show brings two firebrands together on stage. The risk-takers in question are Israel Galván and Akram Khan, promising an explosive mix.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Onassis Cultural Center hosts the Borderline festival, an event exploring the contemporary trends that dominate today's experimental, acoustic and ? above all ? electronic music.

After walking around for about an hour, mobile phone in hand and earphones plugged in, I was acutely aware of the fact that the Athenian neighborhood of Neos Cosmos was nothing like I had thought, even though I had been pretty sure I knew the district quite well.
