The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has altered its forecast to faster economic growth of the global economy next year due to initiatives for greater public spending which could provide a catalyst to business activity, helping the global economy extricate itself from the current trap of weak growth.

Bulgaria received a LARGELY Compliant estimate in a report of the Global Forum for Transparency and Exchange of Information for tax purposes with the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, reported the National Revenue Agency, cited by BTA.

The OECD on June 3 sharply lowered its global growth forecasts for 2015 and 2016, dragged down partly by a "transitory" shortfall in US performance and by businesses and governments skimping on investment.
