Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation

The Romanian diplomat Lazar Comanescu received the position of Secretary General of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bogdan Aurescu said, adding that this nomination represents "a success for the Romanian diplomacy".

The Council of Minister has approved the candidature of Nadezhda Neynsky for the post of Secretary General of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation for the period of 1 July 2021 - 30 June 2024, press service of the Council of Ministers reported.

Blue economy may contribute substantially to post-COVID-19 recovery, as well as to the ecological transition in the spirit of the Paris Agreement and the Green Deal, stated on Monday the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan Aurescu, on the occasion of his participation in the opening session of the 13th edition of the Black Sea Non-Governmental Organizations Forum.

Bulgaria is taking over the rotating presidency of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (OBSEC) for the first 6 months of 2019, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry has announced, quoted by the Bulgarian National Radio. 

Bulgaria will continue Azerbaijan's work in the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), Deputy Foreign Minister of Bulgaria Emilia Kraleva said, Trend reports.

She made the remarks at a press conference following the 39th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of the BSEC member states in Baku Dec. 14.

BELGRADE - Serbia’s Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihaljlovic and Secretary General of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Victor Tvircun agreed Tuesday that there were opportunities to expand cooperation between Serbia and the organization in the areas of transportation and environmental protection, and also within the framework of the Danube Commission.

FM meets with Romanian, Bulgarian counterparts

VARNA - Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said Thursday that regional cooperation is among top foreign policy priorities for Serbia, and urged member states of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) to focus on areas of joint interest such as environment, trade, health care and agriculture.
